Such a great vibe, the owner and staff were so warm, kind and friendly! Loved seeing an African spot that had lovely African staff that were all so friendly and welcoming. The music was dope, the food was so delicious too, and the mixologist that made us those amazing cocktails- you did that! We left full and with smiles on our faces. Thank you.

Heerlijk eten, prima porties! Het zeker een aanrader als je kennis wilt maken met afrikaans eten!

1st: de smaken zijn okay/ goed maar dit is een restaurant voor vlees eters...want groente of degelijk portie sla is er niet bij. Ja je krijgt sla maar is net versiering. 2nd: familie restaurant is het niet want er is geen kids menu en de prijzen voor hetgeen je krijgt zijn vrij hoog. 3rd: buiten sterren mag aangenamer aangekleed worden aangezien het eten zulke hoge prijzen heeft en zich in het "luxe" segment wilt plaatsen. 4rth: assortiment voorgerechten miste tonijn samosa en bantu slaatje...er was een slaatje als versiering. Op website zijn prijzen en gerechten anders/goedkoper dan in resto zelf. Was de bedoeling er te eten maar heb alleen voorgerecht genomen

My dining experience at this restaurant in Belgium has undoubtedly been the WORST I've encountered not just in the country but throughout my travels in Europe. I have strong doubts regarding the authenticity of the scores and reviews this place has received. The discrepancy between what they advertise on their menu and what they serve is alarming, as evidenced by the attached pictures. For example, the fish dish I ordered was not only vastly different from its description but also shockingly unpleasant. It was excessively salty, dripping with grease, and filled with an excessive amount of fish bones, making it nearly inedible. Furthermore, all the promised side dishes were nowhere to be found on the plate. To think that I payed with 20+ euros for what can only be described as a plate of culinary disappointment is truly disheartening. What's more, their service is also terrible and the waiting time is too long. I waited for more than half an hour for my dishes to come. The staff seemed disinterested and indifferent, adding to the overall negative experience. This restaurant is a prime example of false advertising and poor quality in both food and service, and I would strongly advise against dining here to spare yourself the disappointment and frustration. If you really want to try some African food, I would like to recommend the restaurant next to it. I tried it just yesterday and the food quality and service were excellent in comparison. It's a much better choice for a satisfying dining experience.
